Bangkok/ 21 June 2017 – Bangkok Airways led by Mr. Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth – President (4th from Right) and airline’s executives, received "World's Best Regional Airline" and "Best Regional Airline in Asia" from SKYTRAX World Airline Awards 2017. The award ceremony was presented at Paris Air Show, Paris, France on 20 June 2017.

The company has 26 destinations in 12 countries with more than 68 routes to exotic destinations such as Samui, Phuket, Krabi, Chiang Mai, Luang Prabang, Siem Reap, Yangon, Danang, Mumbai, Guangzhou and Maldives.
Bangkok Airways has previously been awarded “World's Best Regional Airline” and "Best Regional Airline in Asia” in 2014 and 2016. This year is a third time winning “World’s Best Regional Airline” and “Best Regional Airline in Asia”. Moreover, the airline won “Asia’s Best Regional Airline” in 2004, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2014 and 2016. Bangkok Airways also won “South East Asia Best Regional Airline” in 2006 and 2007.
